Little Anthony & The Imperials - I'm On The Outside (Looking In) / Goin' Out Of My Head

Description
Little Anthony & The Imperials bring two sharply drawn songs to this 1964 single: “I'm On The Outside (Looking In)” turns its title into a portrait of longing, while “Goin' Out Of My Head” offers another glimpse of the group’s place in the rich tradition of American rhythm and blues. That tradition thrives on the meeting of heartfelt vocal expression and a strong pop instinct, making room for both intimacy and memorable songcraft. The release sits in the Silver Spotlight Series as XW117, pressed in the USA. Its paired titles show how soul and rhythm and blues can make a concise song feel like a complete human story.
