Lloyd Price - Just For Baby / Love Music

Description
Lloyd Price brings two sides of early-’70s soul to this 1973 single: “Just For Baby” and “Love Music.” The titles make a neat pair, but each stands on its own, inviting the listener into the enduring conversation between funk’s rhythmic drive and soul’s direct, human warmth. Price is a soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for both intimacy and movement: a song can feel personal while still carrying a groove meant to be shared. Issued in the USA by Gsf Records as 6894, the record belongs to a period when funk and soul met naturally on the same 45. Together, its titles keep that spirit in view.
