Lloyd Price - Love Music / Just For Baby

Description
Lloyd Price brings a singer’s feel for a strong, direct song to this 1973 funk and soul single. “Love Music” opens the story, then “Just For Baby” turns the record toward a more intimate title, giving the two sides distinct names without asking them to compete for attention. Funk and soul thrive on the meeting of a memorable tune and a groove that leaves room for personality; that balance is part of what keeps the tradition inviting across generations. Issued on Gsf Records as 6894, this USA pressing offers a neat pairing from Price, whose work here sits in the rich, song-centered world of soul.
