Lobo - Afterglow / Afterglow

Description
Lobo’s 1972 single brings “Afterglow” to both sides, a neat echo built around one title. In the early ’70s, pop rock often found its appeal in the meeting of rock’s steady pulse and pop’s gift for a clear, memorable tune. Lobo’s release sits comfortably in that tradition, with the repeated title giving this compact record a simple point of focus. Issued in the United States by Warner Bros. Records as WBS 8493, it carries the unadorned charm of a single devoted to one song. “Afterglow” is the whole invitation—and the title remains at the center of the record.
