Lobo - Standing At The End Of The Line / Stoney

Description
On Big Tree Records, Lobo’s 1974 single pairs “Standing At The End Of The Line” with “Stoney,” two titles from a songwriter whose soft-rock style sits comfortably between pop’s directness and rock’s gentle pull. Lobo is a singer-songwriter, and that tradition makes room for songs that put the melody and the words close at hand, without needing to push hard. This United States pressing, catalog number BT-15001, brings the two tracks together in a concise pop-rock release. The pairing offers a neat way into Lobo’s musical world: rooted in songcraft, with soft rock’s easygoing approach at its center.
