Cumbia has a way of turning a steady, inviting pulse into a gathering, and Los Felinos bring that tradition to “El Crucero.” The other side, “Señora, ¿Como Le Ha Ido?,” adds a second title to carry into the room, while leaving its story to the song itself. Cumbia’s dance rhythms have traveled through communities and generations, finding fresh shapes in regional Mexican music; here, the style sits close to the grupero world, where popular song and a communal beat meet. Musart’s 6620, issued in Mexico in 1985, places Los Felinos within that living musical conversation. The songs keep their names, and the rhythm keeps moving.
