Los Hnos. Barron - Doña Susana / Imploracion

Description
Issued in 1983, this 7-inch single pairs two titles by Los Hnos. Barron: “Doña Susana” and “Imploracion.” Bolero and cumbia meet in a rich Latin tradition where romantic song and dance rhythms can sit side by side, each carrying its own kind of pull. There’s something inviting about a release that gives both moods room, without asking one to eclipse the other. Discos Joey U.S.A. issued the record as JOEY-513, pressed in the USA. Its Mexican artist credit connects the single to a wider musical world shaped by the movement of Latin styles across borders, while the two titles keep the focus close to the songs.
