Luis Gonzalez - Open Up Your Heart / No Quiero Hacerte Daño

Description
Luis Gonzalez brings two intimate titles together on this 7-inch single: “Open Up Your Heart” on one side, and “No Quiero Hacerte Daño” on the other. The contrast between English and Spanish gives the pairing a human closeness, while its acoustic, vocal pop setting leaves the songs at the center. Pop has always made room for direct feeling and clear melodies, and that tradition is part of the appeal here: a song can cross a language boundary without losing its personal address. La Rivierita Records issued the single as catalog number 108, a compact meeting of two titles under Gonzalez’s name.
