Luther Vandross - Stop To Love / Stop To Love (Instrumental)

Description
Released in 1986, this United States 7-inch single catches Luther Vandross in the sleek, soulful territory where contemporary R&B meets synth-pop. “Stop To Love” gives the release its name, while “Stop To Love (Instrumental)” lets the title return without vocals, bringing the song’s arrangement into focus. Vandross was an R&B and soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for both the intimacy of a lead voice and the shape of the music around it. Issued by Epic as 34-06523, the single offers both sides of that relationship: a song carried by its singer, and its instrumental counterpart standing on its own.
