Magic Lanterns - Baby, I Gotta Go Now / Shame, Shame

Description
Pop-rock has always had room for a little drama: a sharp turn from longing to defiance, carried by a melody that keeps moving. The Magic Lanterns bring that spirit to “Baby, I Gotta Go Now,” where the title itself sets a decisive scene, then answer with “Shame, Shame,” a pointed counterweight that gives the two songs a satisfying tension. Together, they make a compact portrait of pop-rock’s gift for making emotional contrasts feel immediate and memorable. This United States pressing pairs the songs on Atlantic, catalog number 45-2560—a reminder that a good pop single can leave its story open on both sides.
