Manchild - (I Want To Feel Your) Power And Love / (I Want To Feel Your) Power And Love

Description
Manchild brings the title right to the heart of this 1977 soul single: “(I Want To Feel Your) Power And Love” appears on both sides, giving the song a clear place at the center of the release. Soul has long made room for direct declarations of feeling, where a plainspoken phrase can carry tenderness and desire without fuss. That tradition gives this record an inviting point of connection, while its repeated title keeps the focus on the message rather than embellishment. Issued by Chi-Sound Records as CH-XW1073, it belongs to a period when soul’s expressive language remained wonderfully open to intimacy and conviction.
