Marty Vandross / Luther Vandross - Stop To Love (Instrumental) / Stop To Love

Description
“Stop To Love (Instrumental)” opens a small window onto the song’s construction, with Marty Vandross named on that side and Luther Vandross credited for “Stop To Love.” The pairing draws attention to a lasting pleasure in R&B: hearing how an arrangement carries its own character, then how a singer brings a different presence to the same title. Quiet storm gives that kind of intimate, soulful expression a natural home, balancing R&B warmth with a gentler touch. Released in 1985, this United States single is on Epic, catalog number 34-06523. The two credits keep the focus on the distinct roles attached to these two versions of “Stop To Love.”
