Mary Chapin Carpenter - I Want To Be Your Girlfriend / Quittin' Time - Recorded Live At Wolf Trap

Description
“I Want To Be Your Girlfriend” opens a small window onto the storytelling heart of country music, where a direct confession can carry the weight of a whole scene. Mary Chapin Carpenter brings that title into focus, while “Quittin' Time - Recorded Live At Wolf Trap” adds a live setting to the pairing. Country songs have long made room for everyday choices, private doubts and the words people find when a moment has become too important to leave unsaid. Issued by Columbia as 38-78511 in 1996, this USA pressing connects Carpenter’s writing with that enduring tradition: making personal stories feel close enough to share.
