Mary Macgregor - I Just Want To Love You / Torn Between Two Lovers

Description
Mary Macgregor’s 1976 single pairs the tenderly phrased “I Just Want To Love You” with the familiar pull of “Torn Between Two Lovers,” bringing two songs together in the soft-rock world of the mid-seventies. Macgregor is a pop singer, and this release sits where polished pop meets folk-rock’s gentler, song-centered tradition: intimate feeling carried with an easy, unhurried touch. Folk-rooted songwriting has long made room for stories of love and uncertainty, while soft rock gives those emotions a smooth, approachable setting. Issued in the USA on Flashback Records as AFS-9407, this 7-inch single offers a neat pairing built around the enduring appeal of a well-told love song.
