Melanie - Some Say (I Got Devil) / Brand New Key

Description
Melanie’s “Some Say (I Got Devil)” meets “Brand New Key” on a single that draws on the intimate, story-led spirit of folk. Folk songs have long made room for characters, puzzles and everyday objects, letting a compact melody carry a tale without grand ceremony. Melanie is a singer-songwriter, and these titles place her name alongside that enduring tradition of songs built around a distinct voice and a memorable phrase. Released by Neighborhood Records as NRA-4201, this pairing keeps the focus on the songs themselves: one title with a shadow of mystery, the other bright with the promise of something new. Folk’s gift is making a small story linger.
