Melissa Manchester - Just Too Many People / Just Too Many People

Description
Melissa Manchester brings a singer-songwriter’s touch to pop, where soft rock’s open-hearted melodies meet soul’s expressive vocal tradition. “Just Too Many People” appears on both sides, giving the song a central place in this 1975 US single. The title has a lovely sense of human closeness, but the record’s story is best found in Manchester’s own performance rather than guessed from a few words. Released by Arista Records as ASDJ-0146, it sits in a tradition where pop could welcome both polished songwriting and the warmth of soul. Manchester’s name and this repeated title keep the focus firmly on the song.
