Merle Haggard And The Strangers - Someday We'll Look Back / It's Great To Be Alive

Description
There’s a plainspoken heart to country music: a song can hold a lifetime of looking back, then turn around and celebrate being here. Merle Haggard And The Strangers bring that feeling into focus with “Someday We'll Look Back” and “It's Great To Be Alive,” two titles that set reflection beside gratitude without needing a grand gesture. Haggard was a country singer and songwriter, and that tradition of direct, story-minded writing gives this Capitol single its human scale. Issued as Capitol 3112, it sits in country’s enduring conversation between memory and the moment at hand—a pairing that still feels true to the genre’s everyday poetry.
