Merle Haggard - Big City / I Think I'm Gonna Live Forever

Description
“Big City” and “I Think I’m Gonna Live Forever” make a striking pairing: one title turns toward the pull of a larger world, the other toward the stubborn promise of staying on. Merle Haggard, a country singer and songwriter, brings the songs together on this 1981 7-inch single, issued by Epic as 14-02686. Country music has long made room for both restless departures and hard-won resolve, finding big emotional stakes in plainspoken songcraft. That tradition gives this single its point of connection: two distinct titles held in the same moment, with Haggard at the center of the story.
