Miguelito - Payaso / Miguelin

Description
Bolero gives a song room to linger over its melody and feeling; salsa, by contrast, carries the pulse forward with rhythmic snap. This 1974 single brings those two strands of Latin music into one small, telling pairing: “Payaso” on one side and “Miguelin” on the other. Miguelito is the name at the heart of both, and the contrast between bolero and salsa offers a glimpse of the breadth held within Latin popular song. Issued by Coco Records as CFF5021, the single keeps its story focused on two titles and a tradition where romance and rhythm have long shared the dance floor.
