Miki - When I Was 15 / Swan Lake

Description
Miki’s “When I Was 15” brings a personal title into a tradition where rock ’n’ roll has always made room for stories that feel close to home. Blues rock and garage rock draw some of their character from that directness: a strong pulse, an unvarnished edge and songs built to get to the heart of things without ceremony. The flip side, “Swan Lake,” offers a strikingly different title, leaving space for curiosity rather than assumptions about what it contains. Released on Gnp Crescendo as GNP 428, this United States pressing connects Miki’s single to the independent spirit of rock’s many intertwined styles.
