Moe Bandy - She Just Loved The Cheatin' Out Of Me / Soft Lights And Hard Country Music

Description
The 1977 single pairs “She Just Loved The Cheatin' Out Of Me” with “Soft Lights And Hard Country Music,” bringing Moe Bandy’s name to a pair of titles steeped in country’s familiar themes of heartbreak and hard living. Bandy is a country singer, and this release sits comfortably in the honky-tonk tradition, where plainspoken stories and sturdy country songwriting meet. The words “soft lights” and “hard country music” make an evocative contrast right in the title, while the A-side promises a wry twist on betrayal. Issued on Columbia Hall Of Fame as 13-33378, this USA pressing links two songs through country’s enduring gift for turning trouble into a memorable title.
