Mr. Big - Road To Ruin / Just Take My Heart

Description
“Road To Ruin” opens a story that turns toward the tender pull of “Just Take My Heart,” bringing two sides of Mr. Big’s early-’90s pop-rock world together. The group’s polished soft-rock approach sits in a tradition that knows how to pair big-hearted feeling with the directness of a memorable song: clear melodies, romantic stakes, and a sense of drama that never needs to shout. Released in 1991 on Atlantic, this USA pressing carries catalog number 7-87509. The contrast between the titles gives the record its shape, from a road marked by trouble to a plea for closeness—a concise glimpse of pop rock’s gift for making emotion immediate.
