Neil Diamond - Done Too Soon / I Am... I Said

Description
On Uni, catalog number 55278, Neil Diamond brings two searching songs together: “Done Too Soon” and “I Am... I Said.” Diamond’s gift for writing direct, personal pop gives both titles a natural place in rock’s long tradition of turning private thoughts into songs people can carry with them. Classic rock, pop rock, and southern rock all leave room for that blend of plainspoken feeling and sturdy songcraft, where a clear melody can hold a complicated emotion without dressing it up. These songs make a compact pairing around reflection and self-expression, with Diamond’s songwriting at the center. The record’s United States pressing links its two titles under the Uni name.
