Nigel Olsson - Dancin' Shoes / Living In A Fantasy

Description
“Dancin' Shoes” opens the door to Nigel Olsson’s 1978 single, with “Living In A Fantasy” completing a pairing made for the concise, bright world of pop rock. Rock has always had room for songs that keep their feet moving while letting a melody take the lead, and these titles sit comfortably in that tradition. Olsson is a rock singer and drummer, a combination that brings a natural sense of pulse to this kind of song. Issued by Bang Records as B-740, this United States pressing carries a late-seventies pop-rock moment in two memorable titles, with the balance between dance and reverie right there in their names.
