Nino Tempo & April Stevens & 5Th Ave. Sax - I Never Loved Anyone Like I Love You / I Never Loved Anyone Like I Love You

Description
“I Never Loved Anyone Like I Love You” is a title made for the direct, heartfelt language of pop, where a single declaration can carry the whole song. Here it appears as both the A- and B-side title, credited to Nino Tempo & April Stevens & 5Th Ave. Sax, whose name brings a saxophone-led touch to this easy-listening release. The arrangement of the credit itself suggests a meeting of voices and saxophone, a combination rooted in pop’s long affection for polished vocals and melodic instrumental color. Issued in 1960 on Horn Records as R-5541, the record keeps its focus on one enduring sentiment: love, plainly said.
