Octavio Lazareno - Naci Para Ti / Cuando Era Niño

Description
Bolero Norteño brings the intimacy of the bolero into a northern Mexican musical tradition, where romantic song meets a regional sense of phrasing and storytelling. On this single, Octavio Lazareno leads with “Naci Para Ti,” then turns to “Cuando Era Niño”—two titles that place devotion and childhood side by side, without needing to spell out their stories. The pairing gives the record a human scale: love and memory are subjects that travel easily across borders and generations. Released in the USA by Discos Columbia as 10027, it belongs to a tradition built around making personal feeling sing plainly and directly.
