Odyssey - Ever Lovin' Sam / Native New Yorker

Description
Odyssey’s 1977 single brings two distinct titles together: “Ever Lovin’ Sam” and “Native New Yorker.” Disco grew from soul’s deep groove and funk’s rhythmic drive, turning that musical inheritance into something made for the dance floor while keeping the human warmth at its heart. The pairing invites a little curiosity about how those traditions meet in a single release, without needing a grand story attached. Issued by Rca as PB-11129, this United States 7-inch is a small, direct piece of late-seventies disco culture. Its two named songs leave the focus where it belongs: with Odyssey and the enduring pull of groove-led music.
