Olguita Alvarez - Hechizo De Amor / Amor Has De Esperar

Description
Olguita Alvarez opens with “Hechizo De Amor,” a title that places romance at the heart of this 1988 Latin pop ballad. The tradition of the Latin ballad gives feeling room to unfold: a direct melody and an intimate love song can make a small, personal moment feel vivid and shared. Here, pop and synth-pop meet that familiar romantic language on a 7-inch single issued by Discos Cbs International as DBS 10295. Later, “Amor Has De Esperar” turns the story toward waiting, adding another shade to the record’s focus on love. Together, the titles trace a timeless thread in popular song: desire, patience and the hope of connection.
