Oliver - The Arrangement / Jean

Description
Crewe’s 7-inch single pairs “The Arrangement” with “Jean,” bringing Oliver’s name to the heart of a compact pop-rock release. Pop rock has always made room for songs that balance an accessible melody with the lift and edge of a rock arrangement, and these two titles give this record its own concise little story: first “The Arrangement,” then the familiar, single-word invitation of “Jean.” Issued in the United States on Crewe, catalog number 334, it belongs to the era’s tradition of making a song feel immediate without asking for a long introduction. Oliver is the thread connecting both sides.
