Paradise Express - You And I / You And I

Description
In 1979, Paradise Express brought “You And I” to Fantasy as a 7-inch single, with the same title on both sides. Its disco setting places the release in a moment when funk and soul grooves were finding fresh shape on dance floors: steady pulse, rich rhythmic interplay, and a strong sense of forward motion. The title’s return on the other side gives this compact release a pleasing symmetry, while its catalog number, F-889-A-M, anchors it in Fantasy’s catalog. Disco’s lasting appeal lies in how it turns repetition into momentum, inviting listeners into the groove one beat at a time.
