Pedro Infante Jr. - Las Abandonadas / Ya Te Vi

Description
Ranchera songs carry the drama of everyday life with a directness that can make a small story feel vast. Pedro Infante Jr. brings that tradition to this 1977 single: “Las Abandonadas” opens one side, while “Ya Te Vi” gives the other its own title and place. The two songs sit within a Mexican musical world where mariachi, norteño and ranchera meet in distinct but connected ways. Issued in the USA by Sonido Internacional as SI-859, this 7-inch keeps the focus on the songs and the enduring pull of ranchera’s storytelling tradition.
