Poussez! - Boogie With Me (Short Version) / Boogie With Me (Short Version)

Description
Vanguard’s 1979 recording brings Poussez! and “Boogie With Me (Short Version)” into the bright, propulsive world of disco, where funk’s rhythmic pull meets the dance floor’s steady pulse. The same title appears on both sides, keeping the focus on a concise, club-minded song rather than a collection of different numbers. Disco grew from Black dance music traditions and made repetition a source of lift: a groove could gather people together, then keep the room moving through small shifts in rhythm and energy. Poussez! offer that invitation here, with the release identified as Vanguard VSD 35208—a compact entry in disco’s enduring language of movement.
