Prince And The Revolution - Take Me With U / Baby I'm A Star

Description
“Take Me With U” and “Baby I'm A Star” bring two distinct moments together on this 1984 single by Prince And The Revolution. One title invites a shared journey; the other turns attention toward the self, a pairing that gives the release its own little dramatic arc without needing any extra story attached. Issued by Warner Bros. as 7-29079, this American pressing sits in the orbit of the Minneapolis Sound and the soundtrack tradition, where songs can carry the sweep of a scene while still standing on their own. Prince’s work with The Revolution makes that meeting of pop songcraft and theatrical scale a natural fit.
