Prophecy - What Ever's Your Sign - Part I (You Got To Be Mine) / What Ever's Your Sign - Part Ii (You Got To Be Mine)

Description
For a little funk with a disco pulse, Prophecy brings a clear theme into view and lets it unfold across two parts. “What Ever's Your Sign - Part I (You Got To Be Mine)” sets up the question; “What Ever's Your Sign - Part Ii (You Got To Be Mine)” carries it forward, keeping the shared title at the heart of this 1975 single. That kind of linked pairing fits the era’s easy traffic between funk’s rhythmic snap and disco’s steady dance-floor momentum. Issued on Mainstream as MRL 5565, this USA pressing captures a meeting of styles built around a memorable refrain and a playful premise.
