Quarterflash - Nowhere Left To Hide / Take Me To Heart

Description
“Nowhere Left To Hide” paired with “Take Me To Heart” gives Quarterflash two distinct titles to carry into a bright, direct strain of pop rock. Released in 1983, this 7-inch single puts the pairing on Geffen Records, catalog number 7-29603. Pop rock has always had room for the lift of a big hook and the momentum of a rock arrangement, meeting in songs that feel made to travel beyond one narrow musical corner. Quarterflash’s two titles make that blend the focus here, without asking the listener to choose between forward motion and a memorable refrain. The single is a compact meeting point for both sides of that tradition.
