Randy Barlow - Heaven Here We Come / Sweet Melinda

Description
Country songs often find their heart in the spaces between home and the road, and “Heaven Here We Come” gives Randy Barlow a title with that kind of open horizon. Turn to “Sweet Melinda” and the focus settles on a name, bringing a more intimate touch to this 1979 single. Barlow is a country singer, working within a tradition that has long made room for both the wide-open promise of a journey and the small details that make a story personal. Issued by Republic Records as REP 039, this USA pressing belongs to a period when country singles carried concise stories from one side to the next.
