Randy Meisner - Deep Inside My Heart / I Need You Bad

Description
“Deep Inside My Heart” sets the scene for Randy Meisner’s “I Need You Bad,” pairing two titles that sit comfortably in the country-rock and soft-rock territory of this 1980 single. Meisner was a singer and bassist, and here his name brings a human thread to music shaped by the meeting of country’s directness and rock’s open-hearted sweep. That blend has always made room for tenderness without losing its pulse: intimate feeling can share the same space as a broad, singable pop sensibility. Issued by Epic as 9-50939, the record belongs to a moment when country rock could lean toward polished pop while keeping its emotional center close at hand.
