Ray Brown / Hesh Brown - Love Is The Sweetest Thing / Overseas Operator

Description
Ray Brown and Hesh Brown meet on a Philips 7-inch single that brings two distinct names and titles into one compact pop release. Ray Brown’s “Love Is The Sweetest Thing” sits alongside Hesh Brown’s “Overseas Operator,” each keeping its own identity rather than asking the listener to choose a shared story. Novelty pop has long made room for playful premises and quick turns, while traditional pop gives a song its familiar, inviting shape; that blend makes this pairing an intriguing little encounter. Issued in the United States, the single carries catalog number 40027 / PH 23434. Its two credited artists leave the record with a character all its own.
