Ray Charles / Ray Charles And His Orchestra - My Heart Cries For You / Baby, Don't You Cry (The New Swingova Rhythm)

Description
“My Heart Cries For You” brings Ray Charles into the intimate world of a well-loved popular song, where a familiar melody can feel freshly personal in the hands of a rhythm-and-blues singer. The other side turns to “Baby, Don't You Cry (The New Swingova Rhythm),” credited to Ray Charles And His Orchestra, and its title points toward the lively swing tradition that helped shape American popular music. Together, these selections make an appealing pairing of tenderness and rhythmic sparkle without losing sight of the songs themselves. This Abc-Paramount single, catalog number 45-10530, connects Charles’s unmistakable place in rhythm and blues with two distinct song titles.
