Ray Parker Jr. & Raydio - A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do) / So Into You

Description
Arista’s 1981 single brings Ray Parker Jr. & Raydio together for two songs about love and longing: “A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do)” and “So Into You.” Parker is a guitarist and songwriter, and that balance of musicianship and storytelling sits naturally within the soulful, dance-minded world of disco. The title track makes its point plainly, while “So Into You” turns toward a more intimate declaration; together, the songs give romance room to speak in two different ways. Released as AS 0592 in the United States, this single connects soul’s emotional directness with disco’s enduring pull toward the dance floor.
