Ray Pillow - Book It / Haven’T You Heard

Description
“Book It” and “Haven’T You Heard” bring two sides of Ray Pillow’s country-pop world together, where the polish of the Nashville Sound meets the directness of traditional country. That blend has long made room for a smooth, carefully shaped arrangement without losing the plainspoken heart of a country song. Pillow is a country singer, and this 7-inch single gives that tradition a concise setting. Issued in the United States on Mega as 615-0040, it pairs the two titles without asking one to stand in for the other. Country-pop’s enduring appeal lies in that balance: refinement with feeling kept close to the ground.
