Ray Pillow - Book It / Haven’T You Heard

Description
Country music has always had room for a well-told feeling, whether it arrives with the polish of Nashville Sound or the plainspoken pull of traditional country. Ray Pillow brings that country-pop sensibility to this 7-inch single, where “Book It” sits alongside “Haven’T You Heard.” The titles offer two distinct invitations, and the pleasure is in meeting each on its own terms rather than deciding what a song must mean before it begins. Issued by Mega as 615-0040, this American pressing belongs to a tradition that can make directness feel like its own kind of craft: a song says what it has to, then leaves space for the listener.
