Ray Stevens - Get Crazy With Me / Dixie Hummingbird

Description
Ray Stevens is a country and pop singer, and this 1977 single lets its two titles set up a lively contrast. “Get Crazy With Me” puts the invitation right up front; on the other side, “Dixie Hummingbird” turns toward a distinctly Southern image. The pairing suits a tradition where country songs can carry a wink and a strong sense of place, while pop keeps the storytelling direct and memorable. Issued in the United States by Warner Bros. Records as WBS 8318, the single brings both sides together under Stevens’s unmistakable name. Their titles alone suggest two different turns in a compact musical conversation.
