Razzy Bailey - Scratch My Back (And Whisper In My Ear) / Midnight Hauler

Description
Country has always had room for a wink and a little mischief, and Razzy Bailey brings that spirit into focus on this 1981 single. “Scratch My Back (And Whisper In My Ear)” is paired with “Midnight Hauler,” two titles that give the release its own inviting character without needing a grand introduction. Bailey was a country singer, and the genre’s knack for direct storytelling and plainspoken charm makes a fitting setting for this pairing. Issued by Rca as PB-12268, the single belongs to a tradition where a strong title can open the door to a whole scene. These songs keep that country tradition close to the everyday.
