Rebbie Jackson - Centipede (Instrumental) / Centipede

Description
Rebbie Jackson steps into the spotlight on “Centipede,” a 1984 single that brings funk and soul into a sleek, unhurried groove. The song’s two versions invite a small change of perspective: “Centipede” carries the vocal, while “Centipede (Instrumental)” lets the arrangement take the foreground. Funk has always made room for both the pull of a voice and the pleasure of a rhythm unfolding on its own, and this pairing offers each its space. Released in the USA on Columbia, catalog number 38-04547, the 7-inch single keeps the focus on one song and its instrumental counterpart—a concise meeting of voice, groove, and studio craft.
