Regina - Baby Love / Baby Love

Description
Regina’s 1986 7-inch single pairs the same title on both sides: “Baby Love.” The release sits at the bright intersection of synth-pop and pop, where electronic textures meet the direct, memorable shape of a pop song. That meeting gives the single a place in a tradition built around concise hooks and the expressive possibilities of synthesizers, while its repeated title keeps the focus firmly on the song itself. Issued in the United States by Atlantic as 7-89417, it captures a distinctly mid-1980s pop format: a compact single centered on one title, with the synth-pop current running through its identity.
