Ricardo Marquez - El Fracasado / Carita De Angel

Description
Ranchera has a way of making a song feel close to the heart, with the directness of a story told face to face. Ricardo Marquez brings that tradition into focus on this 7-inch single, pairing “El Fracasado” with “Carita De Angel.” The titles offer two distinct points of entry, while the record’s place in Latin music keeps the emphasis on song and feeling rather than spectacle. Released on El Tropico Records as catalog number 005, this single connects a named artist with a style built around expressive storytelling. Ranchera’s enduring appeal lies in how plainly it lets emotion speak.
