Ricky Nelson - Lonesome Town / I Got A Feeling

Description
Ricky Nelson brings two sides of early rock & roll into focus on this 7-inch single. “Lonesome Town” sits beside “I Got A Feeling,” pairing a title that hints at solitude with one that suggests a spark; the songs’ names leave room for listeners to make their own connection. Nelson was a rock singer, and this release belongs to the music’s lively meeting of pop craft and a new, youth-driven energy. That balance helped make rock & roll feel at once immediate and personal. Issued in the USA on Imperial, catalog X5545, this single preserves a compact piece of that restless tradition.
