Ricky Skaggs - I'm Tired / I'm Tired

Description
Country music has always made room for a song that says plainly what the heart can’t quite set down. Ricky Skaggs brings that tradition into focus here with “I'm Tired,” a title that appears on both sides, giving the song a place at the centre of this 1987 Epic single, catalog number 34 07416. The repeated title feels less like a footnote than a reminder of country’s gift for finding weight in simple words: a direct phrase can hold weariness, resolve, and the promise of carrying on. Skaggs is a country artist, and this release keeps its attention on one song and its enduringly human sentiment.
