Ricky Skaggs - Let's Love The Bad Times Away / You've Got A Lover

Description
“Let's Love The Bad Times Away” meets “You've Got A Lover” on this 1982 single, pairing two songs around the tender work of love: making room for hard days, and holding on to someone dear. Ricky Skaggs brings a bluegrass musician’s grounding to a release that sits where bluegrass opens toward progressive country. That meeting has a special warmth: tradition stays close, but the songs are free to travel beyond its familiar borders. Issued in the United States by Epic as 34-04044, the record finds its substance in that balance—bluegrass’s enduring musical language alongside country’s gift for making personal feeling sing.
